I’VE SPENT YEARS AS A COMMUNITY ORGANIZER, MAKING OUR TOWN AND COUNTY A MORE OPEN, SUPPORTIVE, AND EQUITABLE PLACE TO LIVE.
As president of the Bayside HOYAS, chairman of the Equity Advisory Committee for the Town of Chestertown, and leader of the Black Union of Kent County, I’ve spent years dedicated to improving the lives of people in my community through programs, outreach, and initiatives. Whether it’s readying youth for college, or bringing groceries to families in need during the pandemic, I have experience from the top down— from planning, fundraising, to working through logistics and implementation.
Most importantly, I’ve worked hard to listen to what our local communities of color need, and to support them through programs that improve their lives in meaningful and concrete ways.

The mission of the Black Union of Kent County is to transform our community into one which all Blacks are valued, and thrive economically and culturally by creating policies, programs and projects that lean toward bringing that vision to reality.
This group is designed to take a in-depth look into the five issues that plaque the Black community: police genocide, miseducation, gentrification, access to wealth and mass incarceration.
BAYSIDE HOYAS
FOUNDER/ PRESIDENT
At the Bayside HOYAS, we work to promote academic excellence, positive character development, and civic responsibility among secondary school age youth and young adults in Kent and Queen Anne’s counties, Maryland. We achieve this mission through educational enrichment, mentoring, leadership training, health promotion, and public service projects with youth of limited opportunities.

Chestertown Unites Against Racism, guided by the Equity Advisory Committee, is a comprehensive, 16-month program designed to educate the community about its history pertaining to race relations pursue legislative reforms that address systemic racism in the Town of Chestertown promote unity, equality, and inclusivity amongst all residents.
